Dear Summit Families:
Summit Prep is excited to launch a cell phone text messaging service to send parents key information and announcements. Based on our parent survey results, half of our parents would like to receive information from the school via cell phone texts so we are happy to provide this service.
If you would like to receive text messages from us, we first need to have your cell phone number in our system. If we don't currently have it, please email or call the school to provide your cell phone number.
To get started,

Text the word "Join" to the number 56360. You should receive a confirmation message from our messaging system (Synervoice).

Create a contact on your phone with Summit Prep and the phone number 56360. Then when you receive a text from this number, you know who is sending it.
If we do not have your cell phone number, then you will get a message saying: "Request not processed." If you receive this message, please contact us.
Rest assured that we will be mindful of the number of text messages we send you. We will send you text messages if your student has an unexcused absence or tardy as well as tell you about key announcements and upcoming events. At any time, you can unsubscribe by texting Stop to 56360. Please note that standard text message charges may apply, depending on your text message plan.
After we have a critical mass of parents opted in, we will begin using the service.
