We would like to thank the 50+ parents and students who volunteered to make this day so special for our community. A few of our families have offered to match donations we receive between now and November 15th (up to $30,000) so we encourage you to donate early! Families that donate beforeNovember 15th date will be exempt from our fundraising phone call campaign on November 18th.

Carnaval: Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday to support our school first every Carnaval. The students set up a haunted house, and we had several games inside the garage as well as a mechanical bull and bouncy house outside. There was great food and music. A great thanks to Olivia Pereznegron, Critina Avila, Ana Tovar, and Maggie Hurtado!
Study Trips: Save the dates of February 4th - 6th for Summit Prep's annual study trip. All grade levels will be going to their respective destinations/areas: (a) 9th grade visits Monterey, (b) 10th grade heads to Los Angeles, (c) 11th grade heads to Sacramento, and (d) 12th grade goes to Yosemite. You will be hearing more from the parent planning leads at each of those levels on how you can support these study trips, requiring parent drivers and chaperones for these days. Should you have any questions before that, please contact: spotsummit@gmail.com The 10th grade is seeking one or two more parents to help plan the trip. If your child is in 10th grade, please consider helping Maria Suissa out. All other grades have a team of 2 or 3. Annual Giving: By now, you should have received a letter from Penelope Pak, which kicked off our Annual Giving campaign. Our goal is to reach $175,000. As important as the amount donated, is the participation in the campaign. Please respond swiftly to the request by November 15, 2014. The response can include your donation or your pledge/promise.
