Executive Director's Message

Dear Husky Families:
Class of 2015 Rocks the Study Trip!!!
Thank you to all of the parents that helped make the 11th grade study trip such a great success! We hope you were able to make new community connections with other Husky students and families. The power of personal relationships and connections allows us to maintain a positive community culture that is physically and emotionally safe, and we are grateful for your efforts to support this non-negotiable! And, thank you to Cheyenne Seneca for putting together this awesome video montage of the trip! We love you guys! http://bit.ly/1iJEO8P
Join us for a night of Gambling, Catered Food, and Festive Libations!
We are so excited to see many of you at our upcoming Casino Night and Silence Auction! Our wonderful Community High School Foundation fundraiser will be a great time to indulge in all of the wonderful things that Vegas has to offer: catered cuisine, live gambling, and adult beverages! Please join us for a fun night of partying for a cause -- to support our amazing teachers and students! We'll see you Saturday, May 3rd, 6 p.m. at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center in Menlo Park. If you have any questions or would like to help out, please email: chsf@summitprep.net.
Big Shout Out to Kevin Kelley!
We want to say thank you to 10th grader Kevin Kelley, who built the beautiful picnic benches that have been installed near our basketball hoop as an Eagle Scout service project. Kevin also donated the extra proceeds he raised to our annual campaign! Thank you for being such an awesome student leader and for providing our students with the opportunity to comfortably enjoy lunch outside in our beautiful California weather!
Expeditions #4 Begins Monday, April 21st!
We're excited to have our students engage in real-world experiences once again during Expeditions! Students will continue to use their creative powers in art and multimedia classes, as well as utilize the cognitive skills they learn in core academic classes. Our expeditions teachers engage students in college-level material and conversations about culture, psychology and future success in our global society. Summit Prep is looking forward to having this time to learn and grow! As a reminder, teachers will have office hours each morning beginning at 8:15 a.m., so please make sure students are on time to take advantage of this support!
Thank you! Penelope, Patti, and John
