Class of '14 College Update
Families of Seniors - With three weeks left in the application season, we are thrilled to announce the list of new college acceptances! Please see the list below. These college acceptances are in addition to those announced in a late January edition of HuskyBytes.
In addition, Class of '14 families, you have up to THREE very important steps remaining:
1. Compare financial aid packages to make your most informed decision.
2. Follow the instructions of your college of choice to make sure they receive your student's commitment to attend no later than May 1 (the national deadline, after which college revoke "unaccepted acceptances" and make offers to their waitlists).
And,
3. Follow the instructions carefully for orientation, registrations, housing, etc., at your college of choice. These are often "first-come, first-served" opportunities, so working on them as soon as possible is important!
If you have any questions about these items, please check in with your student's mentor.

College Update for the Classes of '16 and '17
Dear Freshman and Sophomore Families:
We are always actively working on college readiness with your students and want to make sure you are in the loop about upcoming activities and opportunities.
First, your students will be visiting college campuses during their upcoming Study Trips. Your student's teacher teams can tell you more about the Study Trip itineraries and the campuses to be visited.
Second, 9th and 10th graders are working with
https://www.raise.me/ on college awareness and savings.
Third, the Summit Public Schools College Readiness website is updated regularly and available 24/7/365 for you and your student to explore college information and opportunities. Please check it out at
