Welcome Back. Welcome back to Summit to all our returning and new families! We hope your summer was relaxing and rejuvenating, and that you are ready to begin the 2013/2014 school year! Please join us at a Welcome to/Welcome Back to Summit Coffee & Job Fair on Monday morning. If you cannot join us in the morning, on Monday, join us at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 27 (the same night as the camping trip meeting). This is a great time to catch up with parents you haven't seen for a few months and meet some of the new members of our Summit Community. Please consider joining the SPOT Leadership Team. We had several parents "graduate" off the Leadership Team last June, so we are looking for a few parents to join the SPOT team and help our community continue to thrive. Managing our volunteer force (a critical component to our successful school is parent volunteers) and it is much easier to manage if parents volunteer early! Desperately Seeking Camping Trip Drivers Thanks to the approximately 80 parents who have signed up to drive to or from (or both ways) to our annual All School Camping Trip on Thursday, August 29 and Friday, August 30. We still have 60 students WHO DO NOT HAVE A RIDE. Is your student one of them? Please sign up today, to ensure all of our students have a ride to the Boy Scout Campground in Boulder Creek. WE NEED YOU!!! Sign up by clicking this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dGduQXA3WEJxNTZKZmJVWU52OVZkSlE6MA#gid=1 Food Donations & Shoppers are urgently needed for the Camping TripIf you cannot drive on the camping trip, you can still help us by providing some of the supplies needed for the Summit staff and volunteers during the trip. These are easy to purchase/donate items such as watermelons, granola bars, drinks or snacks. If you can help, complete list can be found by clicking on the Sign Up Genius list link below. Drop off your donations at the Front Desk by Tuesday, August 27. Please use this link to sign up for Camping Trip jobs:
