We are so excited to get this school year started!  With just 19 days left until we welcome everyone back with open arms, we wanted to provide a few reminders and updates.

Camping Trip Drivers Needed! 

Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to drive on our camping trip!  We are still looking for more drivers so please visit our SPOT website (click on the Volunteer Now! tab at the top) or our school campus to pick up a driver application.

Upcoming Facilities Work Day - volunteer opportunity for parents 

We would like to enlist our families to help us with some home improvement items. We will need some strong arms, ladders, and power tools to move some large artwork on our walls to a more visible area in the building, move furniture down to the garage, and perhaps paint some walls (this is an ambitious goal).  Our work day is planned for Sunday, August 18 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  If you are available to help, please contact Ms. Pak at ppak@summitprep.net.  

Binders, binders and more binders! 

We have received a generous donation of binders in all different sizes from one of our parents.  If your students needs binders for this year, we will have them available at orientation and the first day of school.

New Student Orientation 

New Student Orientation is August 21-22 (Wednesday-Thursday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  All new students, including transfers, are required to attend.  Please make sure to bring a bag lunch.

New Parent Orientation 

New Parent Orientation is Thursday, August 22 from 7 - 8:30 p.m.  We request that all new parents attend and meet some of our wonderful faculty!

Take Care of Business Day / CELDT Testing Day 

"Take Care of Business Day" is an opportunity for students to submit any missing forms (like the very important free and reduced lunch forms, camping trip forms, etc).  Students who have received a CELDT testing notice in the most recent summer mailing are required to attend this day for their designated time slot.  Schedules will be distributed during the first week of school.

Picture Day is the first day of school! 

Please come dressed to impress on August 26!

Camping Trip 

Our 11th annual camping trip is August 29-30 (Thursday-Friday)!  This is mandatory for all students so please come prepared with a bag lunch for the first day, comfortable clothes, comfortable shoes, warm clothes for the evening, a sleeping bag, sunscreen, bug spray, flashlight, and toothbrush.  Get ready to have some fun!
