The Summit Preparatory High School Board of Directors is pleased to share with you an update on our relationship status with Summit Public Schools.
On April 27, the Summit Prep Board held a retreat to strategically consider formally joining Summit Public Schools (SPS). Over the past three years, SPS and Summit Prep have worked together very closely with SPS providing the operational framework for professional development, the execution of the Intersession program, and the management of data support, technology, finance, and human resources.
On May 14, Summit Prep hosted a forum for parents and school leadership with Diane Tavenner, CEO of SPS and Summit Prep High School's founding Executive Director, to additionally discuss the possibility of Summit Prep formally joining Summit Public Schools and to address related questions.
After comprehensive review, the Summit Prep High School Board voted unanimously in favor of joining Summit Prep Schools at the May scheduled board meeting.
We are confident that this merger will preserve the success of Summit Prep High School, enable the vision of school faculty and leadership, and allow for more seamless programmatic support.

La Junta de Administración de Summit Preparatory High School se complace en compartir con ustedes una actualización de nuestro estado de la relación con Summit de las escuelas públicas.
El 27 de abril, la Junta de Administración celebró un retiro para considerar estratégicamente unirse formalmente a la Summit Public Schools (SPS).
