GRAUPEL, GRAUPEL EVERYWHERE
Becky Clegg
This morning when I took Ramona and Obie out at 4:30am it was raining like crazy. Of course, dachshunds HATE rain as I think I've mentioned before concerning my two four-legged family members. I'm sure Ken and I look rather ridiculous to our early riser neighbors as we stand out in the rain in our robes, jammies and slippers trying to coax two stubborn dachshunds off the porch to do their business. I thought I would be clever this morning with an umbrella and doggie treats. It seemed to be working as the two merrily trotted after me like I was some female Pied Piper. I thought I had discovered the golden ticket. They stood there with me in the middle of the yard looking up longingly to receive their precious treat.

Easter Flower Cross
Sunday, March 27
"Full of beauty, fragrance and life that breaks forth from a lifeless bulb or seed, spring flowers are a wonderful reminder and symbol of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who broke forth from the grave on the first Easter, conquering death so that all who believe in Him might also have new life."
In celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Easter Sunday worshippers are invited to bring fresh flowers of any color or size, cut from the garden or purchased at the store. These flowers will be placed on a wire-wrapped cross during the Easter morning worship services. The flowered cross is a beautiful symbol and reminder of the transformation and new life of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
