Candy Drive!

If you can't participate in the Trunk-O-Treat Downtown Coeur d'Alene, please help those who do by donating candy to be given out. Last year we gave away over 300 lbs of candy!!! Beginning this Sunday, there will be candy collection boxes at church. Please help our teams out by bringing candy donations to church throughout the month of October.

Bible Sunday

The Bible is the Word of God, written for the children of God. The Bible is a special part of one's faith journey. On Sunday, October 11 at both the 9:00 and 11:00 worship services, 1stPres will give Bibles to all 3rd grade children and older children who have not yet been given a Bible from the church. In order to make each child's Bible a memorable keepsake, a special 1stPres Downtown presentation bookplate will be added to each Bible. So, if you have a 3rd grader or your child is older than 3rd grade and has not yet received a Bible from 1stPres, please return the Bible form that was mailed out or email [email protected] with how you would like your child's name to be printed in their Bible. This will be a special moment in the faith journey of these children and it is an honor as their church family to be a part of it!

Trunk-O-Treat

Trunk-O-Treat teams are signing up to be a part of the "Treat-rific" 1st Pres Downtown Trunk-O-Treat on Halloween, Oct. 31 from 4:00 - 6:00pm at the corner of 6th and Sherman Ave. Don't miss all the fun and the chance for your name to be inscribed on the Great Pumpkin perpetual trophy. Register your team today by filling out a Trunk registration form and returning it to the church.

Attention Prayer Shawl Knitters

If you started a prayer shawl project with the Knitting for Warmth Knitters, but for whatever reason are not going to be able to finish it, be sure to drop your unfinished project off at the office or come to the next meeting with it - we have some ladies that would be happy to help you get it done!

Parking Lot Change

Please do not park in the lot next to Crafted restaurant's parking on Lakeside.  Crafted restaurant owns the area on the corner of Lakeside and 6th Street with freight box structures. Next to that area is a two row parking lot that we cannot access unless we pay for parking. We cannot park there on Sundays either. On Sunday, please park in the lots with Diamond Parking signs and also the sandwich board signs marked "CHURCH PARKING." If you have any questions, feel free to stop by the office for a parking lot map or click here. Thank you. CHURCH OFFICE
