and WKChamber September 11, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., each to be held at Warsaw Community Church (2300 Ranch Road in Warsaw).


Highly sought-after motivational speaker, Petra Marquart, will be presenting at these two exciting sessions.  Ms. Marquart will share her passion for genuine customer service in her own entertaining fashion.  She will discuss the value of communication, how to deal with unhappy customers, and how to provide true customer service every day -- even when you're not in the mood.

is holding a Professional Clothing Drive to benefit Combined Community Services (CCS), from September 11-25, 2013. 


Needed are ties, shirts, jackets, belts, skirts, pants, shoes, and anything else that would help someone at a job interview. 

Please fold clothes and place in a sealed bag.  Public drop off locations area available during regular business hours at WKChamber, Lake City Radio, CCS, and SYM Financial Advisors.

HOT!  High Speed Rail Presentation September 10
Northeast Indiana Passenger Rail Association
encourages the public to attend a presentation on the possibilities of how high speed rail could affect the local economy.  The presentation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10th and held at the Kosciusko County Democrat Headquarters, 417 East Winona Ave.  Parking is available across the street. 

Speaking to the crowd will be Fred Lanahan, president of the Northeast Indiana Passenger Rail Association, and Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer.

is holding Town Hall Meetings at different locations in Northern Indiana.

As of 2010, there are more than 488,000 small businesses in Indiana that employ 1.2 million Hoosiers.  Please join the bipartisan Small Business Caucus at an upcoming town hall to discuss what role government can play in helping small businesses grow and streamline their operations.

NSA Super World Series October 4-6
Super World Series The CCAC
is hosting the NSA Super World Series -- Men's Silver Division on October 4-6, 2013.  This event will draw 80-100 teams from across the country.  Nearly 2,000 players and their families will be visiting our community.  The CCAC staff and volunteer committee have done an extraordinary job preparing for this event.  Please welcome the guests to our community during their stay her in Kosciusko County.
