Greetings!
The year is coming to an end and we still seem to be wondering where did this time go. For me this year went too fast and too much happened. I can count the events but there was something deeper and more meaningful than dates and events.
We started with the second studio that brought about the realization that two children are fun but so different. However much Ron and I have fought over things, we are still together - arguing, laughing and having a drink together every evening.
My sister's visit made me realize that all the years of strain between two individuals can be washed away with two qualities - love and respect for each other.
My father's passing has been the biggest jolt ever. There is nothing that can now phase me out. I found the meaning of life in death. How important it is to live every moment, forgive, move on, be happy and at the same time spread happiness. I also learnt how much I need to take care of myself. I am a giver and always tend to focus on others but it is time to nourish myself and my soul.
Let this holiday season be all about grounding and nourishing yourself. I know I am allowing myself to nourish not only in the body, but also in the mind and heart.
As the sun begins to set on 2013, here's what's happening over the holidays at Almaden Yoga.
- A special 2-hour class with Ron and me, on January 1st at 9:15 am at the Blossom Hill studio
- Christmas and New Year's schedule
- Our new retail items were very well received, and we had to reorder! So come by and take a peek at the unique and inexpensive gifts we offer.
- Yes, we are back with your 30-day Challenge.
- Our very first workshop - "How to create rewarding and lasting changes for 2014". A FREE workshop with Val Ries, followed by mediation with me.
- A list of workshops already planned for 2014, so make sure you mark your calendars.
2014 will shine in all its glory very soon and I hope it brings with it new joys and all that is good. I wish you nothing but happiness, health, and love in the coming year. Make the year more than resolutions; make it about your soul, your heart, and your life. In loving kindness and compassion towards yourself, Anuja Chaudhri |
