WHO'S GOING TO MAD? 
Competition season begins!
Fall is upon us! While the rest of the world celebrates with a Pumpkin Spice Latte, barbershoppers are gearing up for District conventions and competitions.
The Mid-Atlantic District starts off the festivities this year, and boy, do they have a lot to celebrate! We saw great performances from MAD quartets and choruses in every round at the recent International Convention, plus a new gold medalist quartet in Pratt Street Power.

2016 Young Singers In Harmony takes place in Wellington, New Zealand
If you felt a wave of harmonic energy explode out of the Southern hemisphere this week, you can blame New Zealand! Thirty young men's and young women's quartets competed in the national event, as well as 16 choruses. Add to that a talent-packed closing show including The Mission, Vocal FX, and Musical Island Boys and you've got some serious barbershop happening!

Song of the Week: Yuletide Favorites, vol. II
Yuletide Favorites has been a barbershop holiday staple for more than three decades. Updated Online Training Videos Available for Chapter Secretaries
The Barbershop Harmony Society, through its Healthy Chapter Initiative (HCI), has created eight new training modules for new AND existing chapter secretaries. These videos cover the essentials in the valuable work of the chapter secretary and were developed by fellow officers who know what it takes to make this job efficient and effective. Many thanks to these content experts for their work!

"When Fiona Sonni was asked if she wanted to pursue singing after high school, she smiled ear to ear and answered without hesitation.
