SING FOR A LIFETIME
The Gentlemen Songsters go back to school

Fun collaboration alert! Detroit's Gentlemen Songsters shared a performance with Royal Oak Middle School's sixth grade choir... and things got a little wild! The guys had a terrific time with teacher Diane Mehringer's class. Not only did they perform on their spring concert, but they got to sing with these awesome kids.

SHOW US YOUR FLAIR
Membership survey closes on Monday, June 20th!

The BHS membership survey is about to close... thank you to everyone who has participated! As the collection phase comes to a close, we'd especially love to hear from our newer members in the five-years-or-less category, as that group isn't as well represented.

If that's you (or even if it isn't), consider spending a few minutes to share your input... we want to hear from ALL segments of the membership to make decisions about the direction of the Society. The strategic planning team is excited about the next steps and looks forward to hearing from even more of you!

HFI STAFFING NEWS
Robert Rund Joins Harmony Foundation as Regional Director, Western Region

We are delighted to welcome Robert Rund to our team as Regional Director of Development.

Robert says, "I am aware that there are many people who love barbershop and who have a passion for Harmony Foundation. It is clear to me that behind the fellowship and performance opportunities that are the fruit of its labors, there is much work to be done to ensure the future of its programs and that of the Barbershop Harmony Society. It is also clear to me that this work requires skilled development professionals."

Robert is not only one of those professionals but also someone with a good sense of the big picture. He has enjoyed a stellar career in arts management and financial development to sustain enterprise - experience and perspective that will serve both the Society and the Foundation well as we point forward with bold anticipation of our future.

Having been a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society since age seven as a singer, director, and arranger, he has been a direct beneficiary of the organization. As a President's Council
member, he embodies the role and mission of the Foundation.
