Flightline tours Nashville schools
As a part of our efforts to connect with the communities in our convention cities, each year the Outreach team brings in a YBQC quartet to put on school tours and talk with local students about singing. This year, Flightline followed in the footsteps of The Academy and The Newfangled Four, putting on a string of performances around Nashville for some very excited kids.
"What an exhilarating experience it was to watch singers 'light up' as the room filled with this quartet's performance. Their quality filled each child to a point that all wiggles and fidgeting were erased, but replaced with a calm engaged focus of Wow."
They sang several songs, taught the kids (and their teachers) some tags, and even signed a few autographs. Thanks so much to Oscar Sotelo, Daniel Huitt, Cody Littlefield, and stunt Bass Jake Tickner for their hard work and willingness to serve! Bringing barbershop into classrooms is one of our favorite things to do and you represented us well.
