VIDEO OF THE WEEK
Don't miss POLARIS!
These guys are making their way to Nashville this summer to be the first MIDDLE SCHOOL quartet to compete in the Youth Barbershop Quartet Contest! We can't wait to see the buzz that surrounds this up-and-coming quartet from Southwest District.

DEEP THOUGHTS
What do you want to read & view from the Society?
How can your Society marketing and communication team better serve you? You can tell us by taking our media survey! What kind of Harmonizer articles do you want to read more often ... or less? What BHS posts get your attention on Facebook and Instagram? What kind of video content should we be putting out? (And what about this fantastic newsletter itself?) Please take a few minutes to tell us what you already read/view, and what you'd like to see in the future. |
ONE YEAR LATER: ALEX LEE
Meet Taiwan's newest (and only?) quartet
Last year we introduced you to Alex (pictured far right), who came to the Midwinter convention in New Orleans to learn about this wacky barbershop stuff he was watching on YouTube from his home in Taipei. One year and a lot of tags later, he's singing Lead in his own quartet and they are bringing the love of barbershop to a whole new audience. Look out for Six Feet Over!

TELL IT, BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Your stories: How are you making a difference?
Together, Making the Music That's Making A Difference. It's a theme you've heard a lot about over the past few years. It embodies our commitment to core values of changing lives through harmony, of being genuine in our passion (singing) and compassion (connecting to others.) We often showcase stories in The Harmonizer magazine, and via other publications. But we know there's so much more going on than we can ever capture.
Share your stories on our blog, telling of how you are making a difference in people's lives. We want to highlight your good works, and retell those stories in social media, the magazine, and throughout the world.

MUTUAL ADMIRATION SOCIETY
That time The Hi-Lo's that you were cool... A cappella worlds collided when the legendary Hi-Lo's posted a tag video on their Facebook page! The singers were pretty good, too... just some regular ol' barbershoppers representing Lemon Squeezy, Ringmasters, Stockholm Syndrome, and Zero8. In case that wasn't exciting enough... they posted TWO! #socialmediadreamcometrue |
WHERE THE WOMEN ARE STRONG...
The women of GQ perform with Garrison Kellior
Popular Sweet Adeline quartet GQ had a second appearance on A Prairie Home Companion last weekend and once again brought down the house. Not only did they sing, but they got some acting in as well! TGQ departed from strict barbershop charts for the show, but their sound is so full of ring that we don't even care! Here's their stirring version of "How Great Thou Art".
