Barbershop Harmony Society offers FREE webcast of world championships to students and educators
Ready to share barbershop with students and educators? We've got them covered.
For a second year, the Society offers a free webcast stream optimized for mobile devices. We want to get thousands of young people and their teachers to see our greatest barbershop spectacle LIVE and connect to the social side of watching along via Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Point your teachers and students to bhswebcast.com/edu , where they can log in using a valid school email address* that provides free access to all contest sessions, including collegiate, quartet, and chorus finals.
Barbershoppers: We know that you will respect this incredible opportunity for reaching new fans and singers. Be cool: don't abuse the system. If you would have paid for the webcast before, pay for it now. Don't "game" the system by slipping through a loophole. Our paid audience makes this outreach possible; our webcast expenses will rise, but in the service of bringing barbershop to a new audience. Do the responsible thing and pay for the incredible experience you already know it to be.

Our newest tech offering is kind of a big deal, guys. This little number will provide audio and video content, chapter search capabilities, event logistics and schedules, links to Harmony Marketplace, social media tools, and a few more things still in the works. Follow the action in Pittsburgh, connect with your pals, create favorites lists... it's all there! The beta version is available now through iTunes and Google Play.

This mobile-friendly website/app was created so you could easily follow the contest, get stage times, and learn more about contestants. Looks great on your mobile browser, with no installation required! Hats off to developer David Binetti and data driver Alexander Boltenko.
Music Notes
See who's performing, see details for each group, stage times, etc, and record YOUR score for each group to compare with the judges later. Scoring can be done cumulatively or via category. Barbershopper Sarah Householder (@ThinkySarah on Twitter) continues to expand this great app.

GONE SINGIN'
HQ offices closed during convention
Society headquarters offices will be closed during convention, beginning at close of business Friday, June 26. A partial crew in the Customer Service Center returns on Tuesday, July 7, and all staff return to normal duty on Wednesday, July 8.
During convention, you can continue to renew memberships online, access and update your records at ebiz.barbershop.org, and shop for merchandise and sheet music at shop.barbershop.org for fulfillment commencing July 8.
Enjoy a safe holiday week, and sing up a storm wherever you are -- at a family picnic, at a webcast party... or with us in Pittsburgh!
