HX Camps are right around the corner.
Whom will you send? Harmony Explosion Camps Poster

Harmony Explosion (HX) camps provide a great multi-day opportunity for high school singers to meet other students who share similar interests, learn more about singing and vocal technique, experience the thrill of barbershop harmony, ring 4-part chords 'til the wee hours of the morning, and have a ton of fun!

The Society has stepped up its marketing of the program with stylish advertising in major choral publications. Now would be a great time to pass along this ad and link to educators with whom you have a relationship, with an offer to provide scholarships.

POST OF THE WEEK
There's always something fun in the barbershop social sphere.

All alone by the telephone?  Why not call a barbershopper?

For nearly a month, a volunteer team of barbershoppers have been calling other barbershoppers all over the U.S. and Canada---asking their opinions about the society, compiling a data base of everyone's skills and talents and, most importantly, recruiting an army of volunteers to help with future programs throughout our organization.

The first battalion of the volunteer army is that team of callers.  They are looking for new recruits to bring their calling unit up to full strength.   Many callers are needed, in all areas of both countries.

Calls are all conducted at the caller's home and at his convenience.  Each call takes approximately 25 minutes.   All questions are provided on your computer screen. Answers are recorded and reports filed electronically on a dedicated web site.

Callers are asked to make 2 calls per week.  The program is expected to be completed this year.

If you have some spare time and enjoy talking with other barbershoppers, this may be the opportunity that you have been seeking, as well as a wonderful opportunity  to make a difference.

If you are the motivated and dedicated man we need, get in touch with Montana Jack for your own personal 23K interview.  That will give you a chance to see the process in action.   Simply click on this link and provide a good time to call you.

mtjack@bresnan.net

All callers who complete over 120 calls will be entered into a drawing for a free VIP registration to the Las Vegas International convention.  Two prizes will be awarded.
