Annual Giving Campaign -The 5 Minute Donation!!

Full Calendar?
Too many to-do's?
Just plain busy?

If you answered YES to even one of these questions, Annual Giving is just the thing for you!

With a quick 5 minute commitment to make your donation online or write a check you can feel the satisfaction of crossing off one of those many to-do's on your list! That's all! NO door to door sales, NO struggles to meet the obligated quota, NO packing up cars and frantically delivering wrapping paper or cookie dough.. WOW!

We are in the home stretch of the Campaign which ends on October 1st.
We need to continue to give to reach our goal of $75,000 and 100% Family Participation and as of today we have received $30,000 and with almost 30% of Families Participating. We are so grateful for what we have already received but we still have a long way to go!

Don't forget every family that donates will get entered in to our drawing for a $50.00 gift card to Regal Theaters!

Do you want to double your donation?  As a 501(c)3 non profit, Lois Lenski Elementary PTO qualifies for corporate matching. If your company has this program, please ask about it at work and use this Tax ID number: 84-1501737.

Click here to donate online right now.  Thank you for your generosity!

Meet Margo Ellis, PTO Hearing and Vision Coordinator

My name is Margo Ellis and I'm in my first year as the vision and hearing screening coordinator. I believe this program is important because early identification of these issues goes a long way toward achieving positive outcomes. Although this is my first year in this position, my previous Lenski PTO experience includes assisting with the King Soopers card program and creating the Lenski student/family directory.

My husband, Beau, is an attorney and I work part-time for a financial services firm, as well as create the Heritage Village neighborhood newsletter. I assist in the classroom and have also been a room parent. Our children, Darby and Quinn, are in kindergarten and fourth grade, respectively, and are big Lenski fans. This is our fifth year as Lenski parents with five more to go. We have been so impressed with Lenski's faculty and staff, as well as the exceptional parental involvement in almost every aspect of the school. Although my work both outside and inside the home keeps me plenty busy, I find it rewarding to participate in the PTO and encourage everyone to get involved.

Run Club Off And Running! Please Consider Volunteering!
Train for The Stride with Lenski's Running Club! If you love exercise, fun & prizes, meet your friends on Lenski's soccer field during lunch recesses every Monday from now until The Stride (October 25th).

Remember comfortable shoes, water bottles, and a great attitude! Membership is open (and free) to all Lenski students. Parent participation is welcomed; run with your kids or volunteer to assist here.

With the first mile completed, each student receives a chain bracelet and a foot charm.  Please help your child keep track of the bracelet - as each child receives the bracelet only with the first mile.  With each mile run, a foot or shoe charm is added to the bracelet.  Additional or replacement bracelets can be purchased in the office for 25 cents!

Online Directory For Lenski - Enter Your Data Now!
For the second year, Lenski will be using a paperless format for our student directory!  You can access the directory either online or through a free app that is available for download to your Smartphone, making the directory accessible anytime and "on the go!"

To gather the information needed for our directory, an  online form has been made available on the Lenski website.  Even if you were in the directory last year, we need you to re-enter your information for the new directory.  You can click through this email here, or on the Lenski home page, simply find the link in the newsfeed, click on it, follow the directions and complete the form.  DirectorySpot, considered safe and secure, will collect the information and put together our online directory. If you would like more information on the security features, please feel free to visit www.directoryspot.net and click on the "Why use us" tab.

The deadline for collecting the information is October 16, 2015.

*Please note that by completing this form,  you are giving Lenski Elementary permission to include your family contact information in our online directory.

If you are unable to access this online form, and would like your information included, please feel free to stop by the office and pick up a paper form to complete.  For questions, please contact Lenski PTO at [email protected]
