Meet Suzette Loving, PTO Technology Advisory Committee

Hello Lenski Families -I am Suzette Loving and I have been a Lenski parent for four years now! I have a daughter in 3rd grade and a son in kindergarten. I consider our family extremely lucky to call Lenski our home!   I continue to be amazed at our parent community for their sense of commitment to this school.

There are so many opportunities in Lenski to get involved and I feel like I have found a great fit serving as the Technology Advisory Committee chairperson for the past few years. Never heard of us? We are a small group of parents who feel passionate about technology and want to help students reach their fullest potential by making technology available to our teachers and students.  Did you know that Lenski is considered a technology leader in the district? Did you know we have a 1:1 ratio of computers to kids in classrooms starting in the 2nd grade?   Our committee works with the school staff to keep our school on the forefront. We host a golf tournament each May to raise funds to support technology "dreams and wishes".   We meet throughout the year to discuss technology initiatives across the district and in our own school. Our meetings range from high level discussions with the district CIO to discussing "what might break next" in our own school. We partner very closely with our amazing technology staff - Dana Wilhelm and Katelyn Hamilton - and they provide us with lots of amazing insight into technology projects happening in your kid's classrooms. Consider joining our group next fall...we meet before school every other month so it's a great way to be involved as a full time working parent.  Our family is extremely grateful to be a part of this school community!
