2015-2016 Kindergarten Registration
February 2 and 3, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Kindergarten registration for the 2015-2016 school year will take place on Monday and Tuesday, February 2nd and 3rd at Lois Lenski Elementary School.  On these dates, parents are asked to come to school to complete registration paperwork between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.  You will need to bring the child's birth certificate, updated immunization record and closing or rental papers on your place of residence.

Children who will be five years old by October 1, 2015 are eligible for kindergarten in the fall.  Please plan ahead for these registration dates and help us by letting those families in your neighborhood know about the Kindergarten Registration.

If you would like to learn more about our school and kindergarten program, please plan on attending our new parent orientation at 9:30 AM or 2:00 PM on January 21. You may also call the school office and schedule a one-on-one tour with the principal so that you can see students engaged in learning.

Meet Nicole Greene, PTO School Services Lead

My name is Nicole Greene.  I am the School Services Lead for the PTO which means I am the liaison between the PTO and the wonderful volunteers who do the directory, handbook, yearbook, car rider program, school supplies and the vision and hearing testing.  My family and I moved back to Colorado in the fall of 2011 after living in Southern California for 7 years.  My husband, John, works in corporate sponsorships and sales.  I taught the third grade for 8 years until three days before our oldest son was born.  Now I'm a stay at home mom who truly enjoys volunteering at my sons' schools.  Our son, Michael, is in the 6th grade at Powell Middle School.  I am the treasurer for the Powell PTO.  Our son, Matthew, is in Mrs. Broussely's 4th grade class.  I am also one of the room parents for Matthew's class.  We all feel so fortunate to be part of a community that cares about every student and family.  Lenski is an extraordinary school with fantastic teachers, staff, students, families and volunteers!  I am so glad that Lenski welcomes all kinds of volunteering opportunities.  My boys are growing up way too fast so I really appreciate being able to be a part of their educational experiences. Happy New Year!
