New Online Directory for Lenski - Enter Your Data Now!

Lenski PTO is excited to announce  that we will be using a new format for our directory....paperless and online!  An exciting feature, is a free app that will be available for download to your Smartphone, making the directory accessible anytime and "On the go!"  Look for more details about the app and all of its amazing features to follow soon.

 

To gather the information needed for our directory, an online form has been made available on the Lenski website.  On the home page,  simply find the link in the newsfeed, click on it, follow the directions and complete the form.  DirectorySpot, considered safe and secure, will collect the information and start putting together our online directory. If you would like more information on the security features, please feel free to visit www.directoryspot.net and click on the "Why use us" tab.

The deadline for collecting the information is November 14th , 2014.

 

*Please note that by completing this form,  you are giving Lenski Elementary permission to include your family contact information in our online directory.

 

If you are unable to access this online form, and would like your information included, please feel free to stop by the office and pick up a paper form to complete.  For questions, please contact Lenski PTO at lenskipto@gmail.com.

Veterans Day Celebration
November 11, 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.

There will be an assembly at 9:30 and 10:15 AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2014 to honor veterans.  If you know of a veteran who would like to attend, please invite them.  Send a note or e-mail to jvogel@lps.k12.co.us and let her know who will be coming.

 

The Veteran's Day assembly will include the posting of the flag by Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Brownies, patriotic music, and recognition of all veterans in attendance.

Meet Shelley Reed, Food Drive Coordinator
My name is Shelley Reed and I coordinated the Lenski Fall Food Drive for the first time this year. In addition to the generosity of the Lenski community, I feel very fortunate to have the support of so many amazing 5
th grade student and parent volunteers who helped sort and pack over 60+ boxes throughout the month of October. This food drive is very special as it contributes directly to the needs of students within Littleton Public Schools.

I enjoy being involved at Lenski as it not only contributes to my children's education and community, but has provided me the opportunity to connect with teachers, staff and parents. In addition to volunteering as room parent for the past 10 years, I have served as the VIPS Team Lead and Community Service Team Lead on the Lenski PTO board. Many friendships have developed over the years in the halls and classrooms at Lenski.

My husband Tom is a Dentist and I am a stay at home mom. We have three children who have all attended Lenski.  Jake, a Freshman at Arapahoe High School; Lindsey, a 6th grader at Powell; and Graham, a 2nd grader in Mrs. Adkins class, are well prepared for their future educational experience and beyond due to the great foundation received at Lenski.

Lenski Fall Food Drive Thanks You!
The Food Drive has come to end and the spirit of giving is alive and well at Lenski!
You have once again shown your generosity and support of your community by donating 70 boxes of food - all of which directly benefits LPS students. In addition to thanking all of you for your food donations, we would like to thank the fifth grade students who volunteered their time during lunch, Jeff Gruidel and Freight Logistics for donating boxes, and the many parent volunteers who contributed their time to this community effort.

Enrichment Classes and Clubs at Lenski
Lenski offers many choices for students to participate in before and after school enrichment classes and clubs.  They  include performing arts, foreign language, Mad Science, art and many more.  Please visit the website for more information on the next session of enrichment programs.
