Lenski Annual Giving - Invest in Your SuperStar!

We are nearing the halfway mark of the campaign and we still have a long way to go!

Although our suggested donation is $175 per student, we are grateful for any contribution!

Please help us reach our goal!

There are three ways to donate:

  • Send a check made out to Lois Lenski PTO in your child's school folder
  • Donate online here for a one time or recurring monthly donation.  That is only $14.50 per month for the excellence that Lenski provides!!

Find more information here.

Lenski Volunteer Signup Week!

Dear Lenski Parents, our school would not be the wonderful place that it is without YOU!

Please visit the Volunteer Interests 2014 form here and check the "yes" box for any of the Lenski events that you would be interested in helping with. This does not commit you to anything, but we will make sure you are contacted as needs arise. Thank you in advance for your commitment to Lenski. Click here for a description of the various volunteer opportunities.

 libraryvolunteer

Library Volunteers Needed!
library volunteer #1 We are in need of a few additional library volunteers.  These volunteers help check out and check in materials, shelve book and assist the library staff with special projects.  Lenski's dedicated library volunteers allow our great staff to spend more time working with the students.  Shifts are either from 9am to 12pm or from 1pm - 3:30pm, and most shifts would be twice a month.  If you are interested, please contact Lisanna Parkhurst at lisannafp@gmail.com or 303-395-0273.  Thank you!

 PEbikes

Bicycling in PE Class THIS Week
Grades 1-5

Thank you to all parents helping this week during their students' PE classes.  LPS has its new 15 bicycle fleet at Lenski this week during PE classes.  We are working on riding skills and safety. Bicycle "rodeos" teach children the skills they need to assess risks and hazards and to react appropriately - while having fun!  For details on the curriculum please click here.

Contact Coach Wilson at mwilson@lps.k12.co.us  to volunteer or with any questions.

Blood Drive Donors Needed!
September 18

On Thursday, September 18th, Lenski will host its Spring Blood Drive to benefit Children's Hospital.  This event is scheduled from 9am to 1pm.

We still have 13 blood donor spots to fill.  It is expensive for Children's  Hospital to bring its mobile blood donation center to our location.  To justify the expense, our goal is to provide a full roster of blood donors.  Will you please consider donating blood?  One donation can help save the lives of up to three people.  To sign up, please click on Blood Donor.

As part of this Blood Drive, we provide snacks and drinks to replenish our blood donors.  We still have several spots to fill for snack donation.  If you would like to contribute, please click on Food/Drink Donation.

For eligibility requirements to donate blood, please click on Donor Eligibility and/or Medication Deferral List.   Please note - if you have traveled outside the country in the last 6 weeks, please call Children's Hospital at 720-777-5398 to verify your eligibility.
