Garden/Autism Services of Colorado
Garden/Autism Services of Colorado offers a wide variety of services for children, adolescents and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  Provided in one-to-one and small group settings, these programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual served.

3rd Grade Musical Production
The 3rd grade students will be performing a musical and informational production called Remarkable Regions on Thursday, January 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room.  Have you always wondered why the Midwest is called "The Great Breadbasket?"  Do you know which states make up the Northwestern Region?  Did you know that diamonds can be found in Arkansas?  Did you know that the square dance is the state dance of Colorado? Come find out more interesting facts about our nation and hear and see 3rd grade students perform songs and dances representative of the various regions of our country.

LPS Technology Chat Rescheduled
February 10, 7:30 a.m.

The Lenski Technology Advisory Committee invites you to a morning with the LPS Chief Information Officer - Dan Maas.  This meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, February 10 at 7:30 a.m. (originally scheduled for January 22).  Learn more about exciting topics in technology and education such as STEM, flipped classrooms, BYOT (Bring your own Technology), district technology strategy, and more.  We hope you can still come and learn more about what your kids are doing in the classroom with technology.

  

All Lenski parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.  The meeting will be held in the Lenski Library.

Feeling Lucky?  Clear your calendar and book your babysitter for Friday, March 14th!  "Get Lucky with Lenski" will be held at Glenmoor Country Club and feature an Irish Pub theme with live music and plenty of chances to win some treasure. Keep an eye out for your invitation...

2013 Proceeds and Box Tops Cocoa & Cookie Contest

Great job Everyone!  On January 6th, 2014, Lois Lenski received a check from Box Tops For Education for $1,965.50.  This check is for all the box tops collected and turned into the school for the period March 2, 2013 - November 1, 2013.   These funds will be used by the school to enhance the education of our students.  Keep the Box Tops coming in (*see below) we'll be submitting them again in late February 2014. 

 

*Join the Lenski Box Tops Contest for the month of January - the contest runs January 1-31. The class that collects the most box tops during this time period will win a Hot Cocoa and Cookie Party!  An envelope will be available in each classroom for collecting the box tops.  Click here for the flyer.

Therapeutic Recreation Programs

HRCA Therapeutic Recreation Programs are intended to enhance the quality of life for individuals with special needs.  These programs are facilitated by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists and/or qualified staff.  Our goal is to challenge participants and support general independence, choice, self-determination, and self-confidence.
