Dear Lenski Families,
As you've heard, Lenski was once again awarded the National Blue Ribbon. This is the highest award a school can achieve. We are one of very few schools nationwide to receive this honor not only once, but twice. This honor is due in large part to your generosity and sacrifice. Despite years of budget cuts, the value and integrity of education at Lenski continues to excel.
Lenski Annual Giving is your opportunity to support your child's excellent education. If you have already donated, thank you! If not, we hope you will consider either a one time donation or a monthly donation. You may do this online ( https://donationpay.org/loislenski/) anytime or by a check sent to school. You may also bring a check to Bingo Night on Friday. Any amount helps.
If you haven't looked into Corporate Match at work, please do and let us know. It can double your donation.
This is the last week of the campaign. We will continue to accept donations throughout the year, but will discontinue our communications. Thank you to all the families that participated. We'll follow up soon with the results!
Thank You,
Heidi Elliott Campaign Chair

Literacy Volunteers needed! |
We are in need of additional literacy volunteers. These volunteers may read with the younger children in small groups, or work one on one with older kids. Lenski's dedicated literacy volunteers give the students more reading time with adults and allow our great staff to spend more time working with our kids. This is a daytime volunteer opportunity which allows for shifts of one hour once a week, every other week, or once a month... whatever time you have to spare!
If you are interested, please contact D'Arcy Dicus at [email protected] or 303-437-2952. Thank you!

Volunteer Positions now on the Web!
|
Volunteer positions can now be found on the Lenski website, on the right-hand side beneath the Google calendar. Here you can view current positions available, as well as checking on what you may have already signed up for. Other useful information is also accessible on the website, such as the lunch menus, a current day-to-day calendar, teacher pages, and much more. Be sure to stay abreast by reviewing this site often! |
