Have you donated to Lenski Annual Giving yet? There is still time! Our goal is $80,000 by October 1st. We have almost $30,000 already - but we still have a long way to go! Remember that 100% of your donation is tax deductible and goes directly to specialist teacher salaries.
You can double your donation! As a 501(c)3 non-profit, Lois Lenski Elementary PTO qualifies for Corporate Matching. If your company matches donations, please ask about it at work and use this Tax ID number: 84-1501737. Please let us know if you plan to do a corporate match.
Click here to learn more and/or to donate online right now.
If you have any questions, please contact the campaign chair, Heidi Elliott, at [email protected]. |

On Thursday, September 19th, Lenski will host its Fall Blood Drive from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to benefit Children's Hospital. This is the first community event of the new school year! One donation can help save the lives of up to three people.
For eligibility requirements for donating blood, please click on Donor Eligibility. Please note that Children's Hospital cannot accept blood from persons who have traveled to certain geographic areas
(Cancun, Cozumel, and most European locations are okay) within the prior twelve months, and there are age and weight limitations for donors. Before you sign up, please check the full list of restrictions.

Shifts are either from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or from 1:00-3:30 p.m., and most shifts would be twice a month.

Littleton Community Retreat - Building a Health Community for All
October 18-19, 2013 |
The Littleton Community Retreat, formerly the Littleton Leadership Retreat, was founded in 1975 by former City Manager Gale Christy and the former editor of the Littleton Independent, Garret Ray, to help educate citizens about issues of importance to the community. These citizens, they believed, would take ideas from the Retreat and share them widely in the broader community. Their vision succeeded as ideas generated at the Retreat have spurred outcomes both large and small, including:
* Lowering of the railroad tracks through Littleton, which led ultimately to the establishment of the southwest corridor light rail line.
* Establishment of the Littleton Immigrant Initiative, an award-winning initiative designed to integrate new Americans, and help them learn English and become citizens.
