2013/14 Class Placement Guidelines

Dear Parents-

Classroom teachers, support staff, and I have been in great conversation regarding the process of placing students in classes for the coming year.  We know this class placement process is highly impactful to you and your families.  Please find attached a detailed letter outlining the procedures for next year's class placement, as well as a School Learning Profile Form which may be filled out to better assess your student's best placement.  This optional form is one piece of a body of information that is used for class placement.

Sincerely,

Barbara E. DeSpain

Buddy Breakfast
May 3, 2013

You are invited to the annual Buddy Breakfast.  RSVP forms are going out this week in student folders.  Each student can invite one special adult friend such as a father, mother, grandfather, aunt, big brother or neighbor, to join us for a pancake breakfast. The cost is $7.50 per person. We will also be serving fruit, yogurt, and sausage.  And, of course, orange juice and coffee!

This is an open house format, so if you have a student attending with their buddy, feel free to come anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.  If the adult attending needs to leave early, we will be offering supervised play on the playground (weather permitting) as well as a movie in the library, both activities starting at 7:15 a.m.  If you are available to volunteer the night before or the morning of the event, please

check out My Signup.
