Topsy Turvy, a Cinco de Abril Fiesta!

RSVP Forms are going out this week in student folders.
Everything will be topsy-turvy on this fun-filled evening
at Lois Lenski Elementary! There will be a fiesta market, cake walk, prize walk, games, crafts, photos, dancing and a food court. Click here for details, an RSVP form, or to purchase tickets and coupon booklets.
Volunteer Spots are still available on My SignUp. Please take a look and let us know what you can do to help. There are spots for the actual evening and also spots to bring in cakes for the cake walk, candy, water, etc. Thank you!
The night of Topsy Turvy we will be selling bricks from the Bricklayers Ball and the PTO will be hosting a Volunteer Information Center in the Teacher's Lounge (This is a kid free zone with coffee and desserts). Be sure to check it out.

2013/14 Class Placement Guidelines
|
Dear Parents-
Classroom teachers, support staff, and I have been in great conversation regarding
the process of placing students in classes for the coming year. We know this class
placement process is highly impactful to you and your families. Please find attached
a detailed letter outlining the procedures for next year's class placement, as well as a School Learning Profile Form which may be filled out to better assess your student's best placement. This optional form is one piece of a body of information that is used for class placement.

Spring Staff Appreciation Luncheon |
Once again we want to celebrate the dedication of the Lois Lenski Staff and Faculty that make our school amazing! The Spring Staff Appreciation Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, April 11th from 11 am-1 pm in the Staff Lounge. We are planning a wonderful Spring event - a Quiche and Salad menu, and, of course...Desserts!

6,985 Box Tops collected, so far! |
|
In just 2 weeks, 6,985 box tops were collected. WOW!! With each box top worth 10 cents, Lois Lenski raised $698.50. The contest ends on April 26, so there are still 4 weeks to keep collecting box tops for your class. Remember - the class collecting the most box tops will enjoy an ice cream party!

In appreciation of Littleton Public Schools' support this season, the Colorado Rockies and Littleton Public Schools Foundation would like to invite all students, family members, employees and volunteers to come and enjoy an exciting game at Coors Field. Each ticket purchase will include a $2 donation back to LPSF to help ensure every student in Littleton has the opportunity to succeed. Street Smarts - Streets of Southglenn |

Competition ends April 30, 2013! Search your purse, your desk, and your car and turn in all of your Streets of SouthGlenn receipts!
Do you shop, eat out, buy groceries, check out books or go to the movies at The Streets of SouthGlenn? Learn More!
- Save your original receipts and drop them off in the lobby of Lenski in the collections box on the front table or send them in an envelope to school with your child.
- Drop receipts off in the convenient collection box labeled Lois Lenski Elementary located in the Guest Services lobby (next to the parking garage) at the Streets of SouthGlenn.
- If you need to keep the receipt, take the receipt by Guest Services at The Streets of SouthGlenn where they will log the receipt for Lenski and return the receipt to you.
If you have not signed up your e-mail address, sign up for the Streets Smarts e-mail by registering your e-mail address where you will receive exclusive Street Smarts bonus offers and earn 1,000 bonus points for Lenski. (If you have more than one e-mail address feel free to register all of them!).
