Holiday Outreach

The Spirit of the Season!

The holidays are fast approaching and it's time once again for Lenski's Holiday Outreach program which Holiday Outreach Christmas Tree helps families within the community. Your donation of cash or gift card (Wal-Mart, Target, King Soopers, etc.) - no matter the size -can really make a difference this holiday season. Donations will be collected from now until Friday, December 14th. Please drop off in the school office (look for the gift-wrapped donation box) or send to school in your child's folder in an envelope marked Holiday Outreach. Checks may be made payable to Lois Lenski PTO. Thank you so much for your generosity and for providing some holiday cheer!

Box Tops for Education

Lenski Families - Remember to save your Box Tops as we go through this Holiday Season. The Box Tops help buy toner for our copiers that are used by all. 2012-13 Earnings from Box Tops for Lenski is currently $1,089.80. Our goal is $1,380.00 - so we are well on our way! Grateful for Your Grocery Reloads!

As the festive holiday season starts in earnest, the Reloadable Grocery Cards team wanted to thank and congratulate all of you terrific reloaders. For the four weeks ending 10/27, Lenski family and friends spent $44,513 on grocery reloads at King Soopers ... delivering a check for $2,225 to Lenski! So... as you head out to purchase turkeys and stuffing, pumpkin pies and rolls, table decor and a new outfit, remember to reload your grocery card and to buy gift cards to use on your other shopping needs around town! Target, Macy's, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, American Eagle, Olive Garden, Subway, Starbuck's, and more are all available at the King Soopers Gift Card mall. Lenski still gets 5%, and you can use your gift card to buy pretty new wine glasses (or candles, a rake, or caffeine!). Best of all? We can get you a fresh reloadable card by Friday if you need it!

Thanking Our Troops

The final numbers are in for Lenski's Thanking Our Troops campaign and 34 boxes of care package items are on their way to Nicolas Imrie's troop - Mrs. Flagg's son-in-law's troop stationed in Afghanistan. The amount collected this year is amazing and we would like to say thank you to all who donated items and wrote letters to the service men and women in this troop. I'm sure it will raise their spirits, especially during the holidays. We would also like to thank Cady Collins and Kathy Todd for sorting and boxing, Colleen Currie for shipping, and Shelley Reed for communication.

Streets of Southglenn Street Smarts Fundraiser

Holiday Shopping? Have friends and relatives (and teachers!) that you need to buy gifts for but do not know what to give them? Give them a Streets of SouthGlenn Gift Card and earn 2,000 points when you turn in the receipt plus points for the value of the card. What a great gift idea for those you love - the gift card is good at stores and restaurants! Shop Streets of SouthGlenn's newest stores - Old Navy and Charming Charlie's, and earn triple points through January 15th. What great places to buy gifts!

Save your original receipts and drop them off in the lobby of Lenski in the collections box on the front table or send them in an envelope to school with your child.
Drop receipts off in the convenient collection box labeled Lois Lenski Elementary located in the Guest Services lobby (next to the parking garage) at the Streets of SouthGlenn.
If you need to keep the receipt, take the receipt by Guest Services at The Streets of SouthGlenn where they will log the receipt for Lenski and return the receipt to you.

If you have not signed up your e-mail address, sign up for the Streets Smarts e-mail by registering your e-mail address where you will receive exclusive Street Smarts bonus offers and earn 1,000 bonus points for Lenski. (If you have more than one e-mail address feel free to register all of them!).
