Lenski's Food Drive
October 1-31
The Lenski food drive has collected 37 boxes of food so far - fantastic! We are collecting food all month so it's not too late to donate. Parents and grandparents, if you can please donate one nonperishable food item at the Fall Festival parade/party next week, that would be greatly appreciated. Just a reminder that we cannot accept glass jars or bottles, and please remember to check expiration dates.
To find out more about how you can help, please click here. We have also compiled a list of suggested food items for your convenience.
Items in the greatest need are snack items (granola and protein bars), fruit (especially applesauce), breakfast items (cereal and powdered instant breakfast mixes), and peanut butter.

Thank you to all the families who were able to donate to Lenski Annual Giving: The One-Minute Fundraiser. Your generosity helped make the campaign a huge success! You will remember that our goal was $60,000 by October 1. We are thrilled to say we definitely met our goal! To date we have raised $59,778 through checks, one-time online donations, monthly online donations and a couple of corporate matches. With the monthly donations we expect to come in during the year, and the corporate matches we are anticipating, the expected total climbs to $69,217. We can't thank you enough for being so generous. The funds raised from this campaign go directly to specialty teachers' salaries to support small group learning in literacy and math.
Thank you notes with tax information have been emailed to every donor. Remember that 100% of your donation is tax deductible, so save your receipt. If you did not receive a thank you note, please contact Heidi Elliott at
