Happy March

Spring Break has come to an end unfortunately. Now it's time to get down to business for the last half of the semester. Trust us, it is going to fly by. So, open your Spotlight every Monday to keep up-to-date about campus happenings. As for this week, on Monday you should check out a new organization on campus like Psychology Club, Fishing Club, or even Quality Deer Management. Tuesday you can learn to Make Your Summer Session Count, and maybe attend the Town Hall Meeting. Wednesday would be another good day to check out some on campus organizations like the Wildlife Society, or French Club. Maybe on Thursday you should attend the There's no 2nd Chance to make a 1st Impression workshop, or check out the Spectrum Meeting. Finally, it's Friday, and you can sit back and enjoy UPC's feature film, Concussion.

CES is hiring students for Fall 2016. Apply here.

Check out our new section in the Spotlight that features the Social Marketing Team members, and learn about the team who makes all of this possible!

Student & Community Involvement
What did you do for Spring Break? These students teamed up with the United Way and Break A Difference to help communities in New Jersey continue their recovery from Superstorm Sandy in 2012. 37 students and faculty participated in Alternative Spring Break, and helped these communities to rebuild their homes. Here are some pictures they shared with us from their amazing journey. #FrostburgServes

March 23 & 24
Starting at 7:30 PM
Frostburg Performing Arts Center
Drama Theatre

Follow the tale of the beautiful Princess Aurora, the wicked fairy Carabosse, 100 years of sleep and the awakening kiss of a handsome prince. The Sleeping Beauty has enchanted generations worldwide since its 1890 premiere in Imperial Russia. With a lavish, dazzling score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, it is widely considered to represent the pinnacle of classical ballet.

The Moscow Festival Ballet was founded in 1989 by former Bolshoi Ballet star Sergei Radchenko, who appeared in principal roles alongside such legends as Maya Plitsetskaya and Maris Liepa. Radchenko sought to realize his vision of a company that would fuse the utmost classical elements of the illustrious Bolshoi and Maryinsky ballet companies.
