The University Store is open, students are getting their textbooks, and you're back on campus ready to hit the ground running! Kick off the semester right by getting involved in a new student organization. Ladies, sorority recruitment begins February 2 so register early.

Follow the tale of the beautiful Princess Aurora, the wicked fairy Carabosse, 100 years of sleep and the awakening kiss of a handsome prince. The Sleeping Beauty has enchanted generations worldwide since its 1890 premiere in Imperial Russia. With a lavish, dazzling score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, it is widely considered to represent the pinnacle of classical ballet.

The Moscow Festival Ballet was founded in 1989 by former Bolshoi Ballet star Sergei Radchenko, who appeared in principal roles alongside such legends as Maya Plitsetskaya and Maris Liepa. Radchenko sought to realize his vision of a company that would fuse the utmost classical elements of the illustrious Bolshoi and Maryinsky ballet companies.

After you have reserved a room for your event, completed a risk management form (if needed), talked with the Lane University Center Box Office regarding ticketing, applied for event funding from Student Government Association and gathered digital imagery that represents your event, you are ready to market that event.

We suggest you begin to advertise your event 2 weeks before the event. This means preparing your posters, graphics and posts at least a month before your event.

Lane University Center Digital SignageThe Lane University Center Digital Signage System consists of 4 monitors placed in the Lane University Center lobbies near main entrances which offer student organizations, FSU offices and departments and local businesses a new and exciting way to get the word out about events, opportunities and meetings. Submit a 1100 pixel wide x 840 pixel tall jpeg following these specifications.

SpotlightOnlineStudent and Community Involvement's weekly newsletter to Frostburg State's students, faculty and staff highlighting events and opportunities, submit events two weeks prior to event by tagging event type 'SpotlightOnline' when submitting to events.frostburg.edu

FSU's Official Online calendar events.frostburg.edusubmit an event to Frostburg State's official online calendar at least one week prior to the event. You may multiple select from the drop-down menus event type, department and group. If your organization does not appear in the drop-down menu, email Robert Cooper, Director of Student Activities and Greek Life to request it be added.
