Murder Mystery Dinner
Tuesday, December 8
7-9 PM
Lane Center Armah
With live actors playing suspects in a murder case, the audience is left to play detectives who try to figure out the "murder mystery" based on clues that are provided to them by a mediator and based on interactions and conversations they have with the characters. While all this is going on everyone is fed a 3 course meal and enjoys the time they are spending with their friends and peers. At the end of the show, everyone who is participating gets to turn in a guess of who they believe is the murderer. And then the mediator reveals who the killer is. The cost for this event is $6, tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased at the Lane University Center box office between 9 am and 4 pm.

Becca Stevens Band
Thursday, December 3 8:15 PM Lane University Center ARMAH
Featured on Amy Poehler's
Smart Girls website as a "Smartist" (a smart girl in the arts).
The On the EDGE series at Frostburg State University will present the hypnotic, soulful, expressive and inspired music of the Becca Stevens Band on
Thursday, at 8:15 p.m. in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly
Hall in FSU's Lane University
Center Nov. 19.
Becca Stevens Band features New York-based singer and songwriter Becca Stevens, who has received praise from the music world.
Stevens' music defies easy categorization, drawing upon elements of pop, jazz and folk without limiting itself to the rules of any particular genre. With hypnotic vocals that complement her expressive work on guitar, ukulele and charango, she is joined by: Liam Robinson on accordion, keyboards and vocals, Chris Tordini on upright bass and vocals, and Jordan Perlson on drums and percussion.
On the EDGE is an exciting new underground club series presented as a collaboration between Student Activities and CES. On The EDGE features cutting edge performers who stretch the boundaries of their art forms. Patrons will enjoy informal table seating, comfortable couch and armchair seating. Light snacks and a beer and wine bar are also offered. Stay after the show for a chance to interact with the artist in a relaxed setting in the AfterRoom. Tickets for On the EDGE performances are $3 for FSU students and $15 for general public and can be purchased in the LUC Box Office; by calling 301.687.3137; or online at ces.frostburg.edu.
