CES presents FSU Theater & Dance Department in
Junie B Jones The Musical
Wednesday, November 4
4:30 PM Performing Arts Center Pealer Recital Hall
It's Junie B. Jones' first day of first grade and a lot of things have changed for her. Her friend Lucille doesn't want to be her best pal anymore, and on the bus, she makes friends with the new kid at school. She also has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher Mr. Scary thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal and first grade has never been more exciting. Based on the bestselling books by beloved children's author Barbara Park, Junie B. Jones features a tremendously loveable character and fun-filled songs. It will capture your heart just as the books captivated an entire generation of students.
Tickets will be $5 for FSU students and $7 for adults and youth.

CES Indian Ink Theatre Company The Elephant Wrestler
Friday, November 6 7:30 PM Lane University Center ARMAH
CES at FSU Presents the Indian Ink Theatre Company in "The Elephant Wrestler" CES at Frostburg StateUniversity will present the Indian Ink Theatre Company in "The Elephant Wrestler" on Friday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall in FSU's Lane University Center. Inspired by a traditional Indian fairy tale, "The Elephant Wrestler" follows Kutisar, a poor chaiwallah (tea seller) in modern-day Bangalore Train Station as he is challenged to solve the interwoven mysteries of true love, tragedy and joy. The play has enjoyed success touring throughout New Zealand as well as Australia, Asia and the United States. The Sydney Morning Herald described it as "Flawless ... cleverly constructed, full of melodramatic twists and humourous asides," and the New Zealand Listener named it the "Feel-Good Production of the Year." Tickets are $24 for adults and $20.40 for youth under 17. Corporate and group discount rates are also available. For more details on this event click here.
