As March Madness draws to a close, UPC will be hosting a
 viewing of the Championship game tonight in Manicur Assembly Hall. Will Duke or Wisconsin win the big dance? Tipoff is at 9:18 PM.

Tuesday, students are invited to participate in the second Town Hall Meeting, which will focus on state issues. 

Wednesday, give the gift of life, the Pre-Med Society asks that you donate blood with the The Red Cross from 10AM-4PM in the Manicur Assembly Hall.

Thursday, Drew Law will be performing Spoken Word in the Loft, CES will host the performance of  The Great Gatsby at the Stage at Mountain Ridge High School, and Relay For Life will be holding a Bank Night to turn in final donations.

Friday, UPC Films will be showing American Sniper at 7 PM in the Atkinson Room. what could make this great week even better? Late @ Lane takes us back to the Roaring 20s this Saturday!

Town Hall Meeting #2-State Issues

Students, community members and public officials are invited to participate in a series of Democratic Engagement Town Hall Meetings focused on local, state and national issues facing students today. The second Town Hall meeting will focus on state issues. It is free and open to the public.

The Town Hall Meeting series aims to create a respectful conversation about current issues and how governments and the democratic process can be engaged to create positive change.

Relay for Life at Frostburg State is less than a month away! Turn in your remaining donations and bring together all of the final touches before Relay. 395 participants from 37 different teams have raised over $8,700 for the event!

F. Scott Fitzgerald's heartbreaking Jazz Age novel, The Great Gatsby, is considered to be one of America's greatest literary works. It's now given life onstage in an adaptation that conveys all of the decadence, idealism, and tragedy of Fitzgerald's cautionary tale.  The play was adapted for stage by Simon Levy, the only playwright ever granted such an honor by the Fitzgerald Estate, and now it is coming to Frostburg! Get Your Tickets Now!

Every year, Frostburg State University says a huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful campus leaders who give so much to FSU, to the local community, and to the world.  At the Leadership Awards Reception, people from all over campus join together to celebrate another successful year and what it means to be a Bobcat.

 

Hosted by the Office of Leadership & Experiential Learning, The Leadership Awards Reception will take place on Thursday, May 7th at 6pm. This event is invitation only. All eligible nominees are invited to join us at the awards reception.
