SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14

3:00 PM

FSU PERFORMING ARTS CENTER PEALER RECITAL HALL

The fruitcakes of the Reduced Shakespeare Company take an irreverent and heartwarming journey through the holidays in The Ultimate Christmas ShowIt's festive family fun as these three wise guys send up and celebrate everyone's favorite winter holiday traditions. Learn how Santa saved Christmas, cringe at the origin of the term "nutcracker" and gasp at the shocking history of our best-loved Christmas traditions.

Founded in 1981, the three-man troupe transforms long and sometimes serious subjects into sharp, witty comedy. Their performances all over the world are praised for inspired madness. A Variety review asked, "Is there anything these men can't reduce?" while an amused critic from the Pittsburgh Post-Review joked, "I laughed so much that I didn't take enough notes to write a review."

Admission $5 FSU Student I $22.10 Under 17 & FSU Staff I $26 Adult

Thanksgiving Sponsor-A-Family
Once again the time has come to give to those who are not as fortunate as most of us.

Through our Annual Sponsor-a-Family Program, departments and organizations on campus can help make a difference in a family's life in Western Maryland by providing a food basket to a needy family. Over the past 10 years the Sponsor-a-Family Program has provided Thanksgiving baskets for over 350 families in Western Maryland.

We are hopeful that we can continue the success we've had over these past years. If your office or organization is interested in sponsoring a family for the Thanksgiving Holiday, please e-mail Britney Burton (bjburton@frostburg.edu) for further details ASAP.  Last year we helped over 80 families have a wonderful meal.

All baskets will be delivered on the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

For more information on this program, please contact Britney Burton at the Office of Civic Engagement, 301-687-7598 or e-mail bjburton@frostburg.edu

Thank you!

For more information about volunteering, contact the Office of Civic Engagement at 301.687.4210.
