Purchase your ticket for Cultural Events Series Maryland Symphony Orchestra and Time for Three, the world's first classically trained garage band. Giving an innovative twist to all genres of music, the charismatic trio has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to jazz clubs, to European festivals, to NFL games and even at the Indy 500. Frostburg State University students can purchase tickets for $10 at the Lane University Center Box Office.
Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys game. You can enjoy the game on the big screen in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall. Light refreshments will be served, this event is free for students.

This year, MSO is joined in concert by Time for Three, the world's first classically trained garage band. Violinists Zachary De Pue and Nicolas Kendall, along with Ranaan Meyer on double bass, offer Americana music with elements of gypsy, classical, bluegrass, country and jazz. Giving an innovative twist to all genres of music, the charismatic trio has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to jazz clubs, to European festivals, to NFL games and even at the Indy 500.This year's concert boasts a joyous program unlike any other. Classical works, including the overture to Samuel Barber's The School for Scandal, David Ludwig's Fanfare for Sam and Johann Sebastian Bach's famous Double Violin Concerto, will be featured alongside Time for Three's inventive arrangements of music from artists such as Mumford and Sons, Bon Iver and Leonard Cohen.

 United Campus Ministry would like to remind all student organizations about the of the FSU Nothing But Nets Campaign that will end October 31. Make sure your organization gets your nets now! Last year FSU student organizations bought 170 nets ($10 per net) which saved 680 lives for 3 years. We would like to double that this year - your group can make a significant difference. Every group that participates will get their name listed with how many nets they were able to buy this year in The Bottom Line in November. Study Abroad to Ecuador Summer 2014
The College of Business Global Experiential Learning Program is sponsoring a Study Abroad trip to Ecuador in Summer of 2014.
Do you want to have an experience of a lifetime? Travel to Latin America with the College of Business to study leadership and also engage in service in the local villages. During your time abroad you can experience the rich cultural and historical heritage of Quito, as well as tour the Inca Ruins of Inga Pirca. Other excursions include touring the Resort City of Baņos, visiting the Universidad de Azuay in Cuenca and shopping in the Largest Artisan Markets in South America. Students will earn 3 credits by taking one of a number of courses that will be taught online in the first summer session. Trip dates are June 4 through the 14. Clothing Donations Needed for Dress for Success
The Women's Studies Steering Committee will host a Dress for Success
Program for female students on Friday, Oct. 18, from 11:00am to 2:00pm in Lane University Center Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall. As part of the program, the group will help create a professional dress closet for young women. For a small amount, the women can purchase pieces for their closets. The Diversity Center is accepting donations and is looking for gently worn items for the girls. Items needed include sweaters, slacks, suits, button-down tops, skirts, belts, jewelry, dresses and blazers in all sizes. By walking together from the campus through local neighborhoods, the march will emphasize how, by walking and learning together, we strengthen our community for a better future. In this second year of the series, community members will come together to create tangible solutions for deeper-level, sensitive and structurally challenging town-and-gown tensions that bring about safe, secure living conditions and civil relationships between long and short-term residents in the college town. Nationally recognized conflict resolution scholar-practitioners Dr. Frank Dukes, lecturer and director of the Institute for Environmental Negotiation at the University of Virginia, and Dr. Marvin Johnson, founder and executive director of the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, will continue to help facilitate the sessions, along with Ruminski, chair of FSU's Department of Communication Studies and an associate professor in that department.
