Hello fellow Bobcats! We were so happy to greet over 1,300 Bobcats at the first Late@Lane of the year! 

Help spread crime prevention. Attend the Annual Law Enforcement Awareness Day today. This years theme deals with "Crime Prevention" and how to work together as a community.

This week is filled with numerous activities that you do not want to miss such as comedians Micheal Blaustein and Thomas Dale presented by Late at Lane.

Join inspiring gospel/poet/rap artists, Jeremiah's Kall on Saturday to experience their high-energy positivity presented by University Programming Council.

Witness a captivating performance filled with electrifying  movement courtesy of the Cultural Event Series as they present "Love American Style!" from the Philidephia-based dance company, Rennie's Awe-Inspiring Works. Tickets can be purchased at the Lane Center Box Office.

Curious about sorority life at Frostburg State University, chck out Alpha Sigma Alpha's, Alpha Sigma Tau's and Delta Zeta's recruitment events happening this week. Live in color by participating in Delta Zeta's ambition Paint Run that will be raising money for the American Cancer Society. All levels of skill are welcomed, but wear protective eye glasses to this event.

This stand up comedy duo is both heart-warming and hilarious. Michael Blaustein and Thomas Dale have performed stand up comedy at numerous colleges and and clubs across the country. Blaustein is currently a member of MTV's revamped version of PUNK'dm as well as performing for Comedy Centrals On Campus Tour. Most recently Thomas Dale has performed on E!'s Chelsea Lately show and on the Late Show with Craig Ferguson. For more information, contact Amy Fynes, Asst. Jeremiah's Kall travels the country to performhigh energy poetry and rap concerts. The poets and gospel rap artists use profound lyrics with the purpose of spreading positivity. They perform a range of hip-hop music and poetry to promote a positive message to their listeners. They seek to spread their positivity movement across the country. Delta Zeta's Paint Run

Come get pink and raise green for the American Cancer Society at Delta Zeta's Paint Run. Each color thrown will represent a different cancer ribbon. All levels of ability are welcome!  Protective eye wear is required for the run. There will be a limited number of sunglasses for sale at the event. Registration begins at 10:00am in the College Avenue parking lot and the run starts at 11:00am. For more information, contact Cathy Close at 443.617.6339.

VAN DRIVERS NEEDED!

The ECHOSTARS program is looking for van drivers for Fall 2013This is a rewarding opportunity where you can make a few extra dollars while making a difference in the community. Van drivers are expected to transport ECHOSTARS students to and from designated sites on certain days. To be eligible for this position, you must currently hold NO points on your license. For more information contact Clarissa Lang, Administrative Assistant at 301.687.4210. or stop by the Braddock House from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.

Annual Law Enforcement Awareness Day

This year's theme is "Crime Prevention - Working Together and Making a Difference". Law Enforcement Awareness Day provides you the opportunity to talk or discuss a concern with an officer in a friendly environment, access information in regards to your safety and security, and a chance to observe the latest technology in the law enforcement field. There will be table exhibits provided by each of the participating L.E. agencies, demonstrations, recruitment and give-a-ways.

The Tutoring Center is Hiring!
Subject areas in need of tutors include: ACCT 211/212, BIOL 109/149/150, CHEM 201/202, COSC 100/101/102, ECON 201/202, GEOG 201/202, MATH (Must be able to tutor up to Calculus II), PHIL 101/102,
PHSC 100, PHYS 261/262, POSC 110/113, PSYCH 150/210, Writing (For the Writing Center. Tutors should be able knowledgeable in the areas of grammar, mechanics, punctuation, and documentation.) -Two tutors needed. Beginning pay is $7.70 an hour. There are also opportunities for paid trainings and CRLA tutoring certification. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Stop by the Tutoring Center in Pullen 151 to pick up an application!
