Irish song & dance - Sean Keane - Medley on the Late Late
Sen Keane has been a favorite of Celtic music fans for 20 years and is widely acknowledged as one of Ireland's best voices. The London Independent called him the "fastest rising star on the Irish music scene," Q Magazine labeled him as "the best folk singer of his generation" and The Irish Times declared him to be "the voice of the west of Ireland ... thrillingly expressive." Singing with undertones of the traditional Celtic sean-ns style, Keane's distinctive voice and music are a joy to experience.

Opening for Keane is the husband and wife duo, Al Petteway and Amy White. The Celtic and Appalachian-influenced music of this award winning pair has appeared on the soundtracks for four Ken Burns documentaries. Their performances feature acoustic guitar, mandolin, Celtic harp, piano, banjo, lap dulcimer, world percussion and a touch of vocals. Together, they've been awarded over 50 WAMMIE awards from the Washington Area Music Association; Petteway received a 2005 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album for his work on the compilation, Henry Mancini: Pink Guitar.
