Hello Bobcats! Get ready for a great week with tons of fun and exciting events.
Today we have the NCAA Basketball championship game viewing with FREE food in the Lane University Center Atkinson Room.
Tuesday the Black Student Alliance will be presenting their Spring Fling week with the movie Hidden Colors, and will continue the events with a 3-on-3 basktetball tournament Wednesday. Also on Wednesday the UPC will be having their Murder Mystery Dinner. This year's theme is Murder in Maui.
On Thursday there will be an SGA meeting at 7:30. Come out and let your voice be heard.
On Saturday there will be a Science Alumni Reception hosted by the Student Members of the American Chemical Society. In addition, a Paparazzi Perfect Fashion Awards Show will be held in the Lane University Center Manicur Assembly Hall.
And finally, on Sunday there will be a Lies and Misconceptions Bible Study.

Nothing But Nets Campaign 
Nothing But Nets Report: We had a great response to the campaign. FSU Community raised a Total $1700 = 170 Nets = 680 people saved for 3 years this year from our FSU community. Thank you all who participated. If you forgot to turn your money in on March 27, there is still time. The check will not be issued until April 9th, so we still have time to change the check total until April 8.You can donate online at United Campus Ministry's web page or through campus mail: Chaplain Cindy Zirlott, 308 Hitchins Adm Bldg.

365 Love: Principles for Making Love  Last Brown Bag Lunch

United Campus Ministry presents 365 Love: Principles for Making Love Last is a 5-week seminar on marriage enrichment or preparation. This is open to all FSU students, faculty and staff; couples (married or preparing for marriage) or singles. Rev. Dr. Cindy Zirlott, who practied as a marriage and family counselor for 12 years before coming to campus as the chaplain, will facilitate. Engaged couples who participate will receive a "Pre-Martial Counseling" certificate upon completion.

Science Alumni Reception

The Student Members of the American Chemical Society (SMACS) will be hosting a science alumni reception to provide students the opportunity to meet and network with several alumni from the various science majors at FSU.The event will begin at 2:00 pm with snacks and refreshments, which will be followed by an Alumni panel discussion. During the panel, students will be able to ask a selection of our alumni in attendance various questions about their life experiences as well as for recommendations about preparing for future careers. Remember Alumni can provide valuable connections to future employers and could even make job/internship offers on the spot, so you should dress nice and bring business cards and/or resumes.

Fashion Show

Paparazzi Perfect's annual fashion show featuring an award show theme will highlight models as they twist and turn on the runway. Get your ticket starting Monday, April 8 until Saturday, April 13 at the Lane University Center Box Office. $6.00 for students and $7.00 for guests.

United Campus Ministry presents Finding True North Bible Study, New Series starts: LIES and Misconceptions about God and Christianity You May Have Heard. This is a topical study and discussion. Bring your question about God or Christianity with you or submit in advance to Chaplain Cindy Zirlott. You don't have to be a member or even Christian to join the discussion, this is open to the entire University community.

Luciana Souza and Romero Lubambo: Brazilian Duos

The Cultural Events Series at Frostburg State University will present a LIVE! at StarScape club-style performance, titled Luciana Souza and Romero Lubambo: Brazilian Duo, on Saturday, April 20, at 8 p.m. in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall in FSU's Lane University Center. Audience members will have the opportunity to interact with the artists in a question-and-answer session immediately following the performance.

Hailing from Sao Paolo, Brazil, Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Souza is one of the leading singers and interpreters in the Latin jazz genre. Entertainment Weekly  says "her voice traces a landscape of emotion that knows no boundaries." A fellow Brazilian, skilled guitarist Lubambo was praised by Jazziz magazine as perhaps being "the best practitioner of his craft in the world today." Together, they create an outstanding musical experience for their audience, and The Los Angeles Times praised their show for its "inspired excellence [and] utter musical involvement ... a must-hear musical destination."

for Beautify the 'Burg  Day of Caring & Sharing
(Formerly the Day of Caring and Sharing)
Event: Saturday, May 4
Registration Deadline: April 19
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Meet at St. Michaels Church
Volunteer to help Beautify the 'Burg by partnering with community members to help paint light posts, sweep sidewalks, plant flowers and complete other projects in the area. All participants in this event will be provided with lunch at 12 p.m. at City Place where there will be live music, special guest speakers and much more.
