Hope the first week of classes were a success! Get ready to see what the rest of the semester has in store for you!

SEX SIGNALS: Come discuss issues with dating, sex, and date rate on college campuses tonight with the University Programming Council in the Lane University Center, Manicur Assembly Hall at 8PM. On Tuesday, get ready to grab your hand-held air cannons because UPC will be hosting Bongo Ball 3-7PM in the Upper Quad.

What are your representatives doing for you?
Come out to the SGA meeting this Thursday and see what your senate can do for you! How are your student activities being spent? After the meeting go take a look at the film Se7en, being shown by UPC in the Lane University Center Room 111 8-10PM.

The Weekend? Saturday from 10-2 AM in the Lane University Center, Late@Lane will be sponsoring 7 Deadly Sins. There will be a step show, free food, Zen station, money machine, etc. Prizes will include: iPad Mini, Tiffany's necklace, Fossil watch, HP Laptop, HP Jetset and much more!

On Sunday come watch the Baltimore Ravens play against San Francisco 49ers in the XLVII Superbowl in the Lane University Center, Alice R.Manicur Assembly Hall.

Tuesday, January 29 from 3-7 PM
FSU Upper Quad  

Hand-held air cannons using Nerf balls as ammo. Teams can advance on each other while maneuvering through a field of inflatable obstacles. Players are protected by padded vests and face masks. Free and open to FSU students.

LANE UNIVERSITY CENTERSET-UP/TECH SERVICES/LATE NIGHT Responsibilities include: setting up meeting rooms for daily events including audio-visual equipment, as reserved, and the technical operation of light trees, sound equipment and video/movie projectors, setting metal detectors and operating photocopier for late night events as needed. Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds, move tables, chairs, staging, and furniture for large set up as needed. Strong attention to detail is essential. Dedicated work ethic, a strong attention to detail and scheduling flexibility is a must. Mandatory training will be provided. Due to the changing nature of meeting room set-ups, hours vary weekly.

SOCIAL MARKETING TEAM ~ DIGITAL SIGNAGE Responsibilities include:Approves/denies Digital Signage submissions based upon design criteria, converses with the Reservations Specialist, emails clients if advertisements need changes, keeps a record of income, works with Graphic Designers to create ads for Student & Educational Services. Inputs event data for rooms and master schedule.

Volunteer Opportunity
The University Programming Council is looking for students interested in graphic design, marketing, public relations, photography and social networking.  We want students that will not only like to build their resume, but also be committed to helping the organization brand and advertise itself as a whole.
