NRA Supports

The National Rifle Association's Political Victory Fund has announced its endorsement of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan for President and Vice President. NRA's Executive Vice President, Wayne LaPierre, and NRA-ILA Executive Director, Chris W. Cox, made the announcement in Fishersville, Virginia, during a rally with both Gov. Mitt Romney (R) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) in attendance. Also attending, and performing at the press conference, was country music superstar and NRA Life Member Trace Adkins.

"Today, we live in an America that is getting harder to recognize every day, led by a President who mocks our values, belittles our faith, and is threatened by our freedom." said Cox. "So on behalf of the four million men and women of the National Rifle Association, representing tens of millions of NRA supporters, it is my honor to announce the NRA's endorsement of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan for President and Vice President of the United States."

Your Vote Counts

Wisconsin FORCE and the NRA strongly encourage you to get out and vote in this critical election. If you can, get involved with grassroot organizations that promote freedom loving Americans to get out and vote. I am sure, like me, you are sick of the political season as Wisconsin has been in a constant election mode. I know many of you have sacrificed your time and money trying to keep this country free and restore some of the rights we have lost. Thank you, but we have a huge challenge coming in a couple of weeks. Please help if you can, and be sure to get out and vote

See you at the polls, Jeff

Parting Shot... by Paul Baumann

Big changes are coming

This issue of the Trigger marks the 40th issue. For a little more than three years the Trigger has been published, primarily for the members of the Wisconsin Firearm Owners, Ranges, Clubs and Educators, (Wisconsin FORCE) but was available to anyone who signed up on line to receive the newsletter.  Beginning in January 2013, the Trigger will be changing to a "members only" electronic newsletter.

If you are a member of the FORCE all you have to do to keep receiving the Trigger is to make sure that your membership profile is up to date with your correct email address. To do that  just send an email to membership@wi-force.org with you name and membership number (off of your current membership card) and your correct email address.  Use "Email update" as the subject.

If you are not currently a Wisconsin FORCE member, (you should be!), please click here , and you will be redirected to our current membership application. The dues are just $20 a year and that money helps to fund all of the work of the FORCE. As your voice in Madison, supporting and sanctioning competitions,  promoting firearm education and reporting on all of those things through the Trigger and Wisconsin Hunter/Marksman.

Thank you for your support and interest in the Trigger. I hope that you will all continue your interest in the in the Trigger and he work of Wisconsin Force.

Finally, please vote on Tuesday, November 6th!
