Adopt an Actor - PLEASE!

Sorry, you don't get to take one home with you. But we will list you in the program with the notation "Actor XYZ's performance has been supported by YOU! And we will make sure you get to have a drink with your adopted artist in the theater bar after the show!

It is time for the Spring Musical at Pride Films and Plays, and as you know even small cast musicals can be costly.

So I am reaching out to you for help as we make final preparations for our musical Songs From An Unmade Bed  which opens in three weeks.

Make a tax deductible donation made today and help 'Adopt' Jordan Phelps or Kevin Webb, or understudies Jonas Davidson and Tommy Thurston.

Or your donation could support the work of Director Derek Van Barham, or Musical Director Robert Ollis.

Or you could designate your support go to marketing, costumes, royalties, space rental, lights or set, or any of the design team working on the show.

A donation - even as low as $10 - helps support our cause!

Please consider 'Adopting An Actor' here.

Songs from an Unmade Bed explores the experiences (romantic, sexual and otherwise) of two gay men living in the city. Lyricist Mark Campbell worked with eighteen composers (one per song) to create a unique musical revue, accompanied by piano and cello, with gorgeous songs that range from funny, poignant, melancholy and ultimately hopeful about life and love. Songs From An Unmade Bed has previously been presented in New York City (Off-Broadway), Los Angeles and elsewhere; this will be its premiere professional production in Chicago.

Originally conceived as a one-man show, PFP has divided Songs into a conversation between two on-again, off-again lovers (played by Kevin Webb and Jordan Phelps).

You are invited to arrive early to have a drink at the bar, and mingle with the other guests.  The curtain is at 7:30PM, but the doors open at 7PM.  Come relax, unwind, and enjoy the pre-show entertainment by the band.

Songs From An Unmade Bed plays Thursdays through Sundays at 7:30 March 27 to April 27 at Apollo Studio Theater at 2450 N Lincoln on the Lower Level.
