Final Week and New Projects
Tickets are available for all of the performances of The Children's Hour this week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30, and Sunday at 3:00.

Tickets may be purchased here.

This is the final week of performances for Lillian Hellman's classic drama. We have gotten great reviews and terrific audience response, and are thrilled with the production.

Directer Derek Bertelsen* asked some of the performers in the show for their thoughts as they go into the final weekend.

Whitney Morse, who plays Martha, said:
Working on this classic play has been a rare joy and an amazing challenge. I have learned so much from speaking these words and sharing the stage with this remarkable ensemble.

From Joan McGrath* who plays Mrs. Tilford:
A fellow actor who saw the show early in the run emailed me last week. He said he is still haunted by our powerful and emotionally intense production which he called  'an unforgettable night in the theatre.'

From Brittany Bookbinder, as Catherine:
I've had a wonderful experience working with such a supportive ensemble. We make a great team. I had a lot of fun rediscovering the awkwardness, the fears, and the competition of being a little girl in school.

From Bryan Renaud, the Grocery Boy:
What I find so exciting about this production is that it doesn't matter when it was written...it is relevant, it is real and it resonates with the audience every night.
This production strips away the melodrama from the original text and leaves nothing but the bare-bones, important message in front of you, so it's impossible to ignore.

If you have already seen the show, we thank you for your support.

If you have not seen in yet, you have only four more chances! Don't delay!
Next on our season, we present the Chicago premiere of Songs From An Unmade Bed. This thoroughly delightful new work features Mark Campbell's lyrics set to music by nearly two dozen composers.  Kevin Webb*, Adam Fane, and Jordan Phelps* star, with musical direction by Jeff Award-winner Robert Ollis* and direction by Derek Van Barham*.

The performance is at the Apollo Studio Theater (under Million Dollar Quartet), 2650 North Lincoln.  Performances begin March 27, and you can order tickets here.
