And here come the reivews....
"Recommended...Under A Rainbow Flag is a delightful, light-weight musical that explores the various types of love that gay men endured in those closeted-days during WWII. This show is a tribute to the wholesomeness and heart of gay men. It celebrates the essence of being gay with a high-energy expression. It contains humor, angst, love, and hope as those early brave souls were determined to live in truth. It is a worthy new musical that begs an audience." -Tom Williams, Chicagocritic.com.
Nick Stockwell and Sam Button-Harrison
"4 Stars! The entire cast plays wonderfully together and is amazingly fun to watch and without a weak voice. Sam Button-Harrison plays Phillips with a naïveté that transforms into a cautious outlook on relationships and Stockwell transitions well from a 'knows-what-he-wants' smooth-talker to quickly being on the opposite end of the advances. Nedrud steals the show with every number he's in, especially 'The Army's Handing Out Medals' and 'Put On Your Hat and Heels.' Phelps, whose character had the most depth, is simply compelling to watch with a beautiful voice to match and Anderson, like Stockwell, plays her character's arc so well, you can't help but feel for her at the end of the show.

Ashley Ann Woods' set is two-leveled with two different boxes that move around the stage to serve as multiple locations. She deserves a Jeff just for the scenic painting, with each wall on the stage painted to look like various scenes from San Francisco or posters from WWII...KUDOS! Garvin Jellison's lighting design really helps to move the story along and Robert Ollis's musical direction never once overpowers the cast. David Zak's direction was superb and kept everything tight and flowing. Tracy Strimple's choreography was extremely fun to watch and highly entertaining."
