---Eggemoggin Reach
Many of you have been aboard when we've sailed under the Deer Isle bridge. Here's a quick clip of Capt. Linda at the top of the main mast on a recent trip as we did it again.

We saw the 180-ft 3-masted bark Picton Castle, finishing her sixth world circumnavigation, bound for her homeport of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

--July 29 Lunch included a loaf of bread, pirate boat bread that is.
Sweet Maine blueberries are beginning to show up at farmers' markets and roadside stands. One of our guests' favorite recipes is . . .
Blueberry Buckle
Cream together
1/4 c. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
Add
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
Add and mix
1/2 t. salt
2 t. baking powder
2 c. flour
Toss 2 c. blueberries in flour then mix into batter.
Batter will be very stiff. Spread in greased 8" x 8" pan.
Topping
Mix
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 t. cinnamon
Cut in
1/4 c. margarine
Sprinkle topping over batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min. Makes 16 pieces.
