Hello from the
Schooner Heritage!
Hi Shipmates, Happy Winter! We're really having one this year. We made a road trip in late January through early February. The big storm "Nemo" got our attention as we were trying to get home. We slipped through a "weather window" and arrived in Rockland to big snow drifts.

It's time to get our winter projects completed to be ready for spring outfitting. Doug so appreciated using the borrowed "manlift" for work on our home that he wants to purchase one for shipyard work and future house work . . . no more ladders and staging.

Our older daughter, Clara, was just 2 1/2 years old when we launched the Heritage. Rachel, our younger daughter, was 2 1/2 months old then.

Linda is working on putting this year's outfitting crew together and also a sailing crew. We have a few returning crew and some new ones, too. A lot of training goes on all the time. We never really planned to be teachers, but we seem to be.

Shary's been working from home this month. Her husband had knee replacement surgery so she needed to take care him and their mothers who live with them. The "Moms" like having her near by so they can check in with her often. She's doing a great job and kind of enjoying a bit of freedom from 9 to 5 work. She has a home office set up and is ready to help you with any questions.
