The
Thanksgiving Edition. . .
It’s
easy to let Thanksgiving go by as the day for food,
football, and the precursor to Black Friday, but we’re
really missing out if we do. We had a mind numbing election
season, the jobless rate stinks, business isn’t the greatest
in a lot of areas, and we have financial disaster looming in
our future. Sometimes, it all looks pretty bleak. But then
there’s Thanksgiving. And we have so much to be thankful
for. We wanted to take this small segment of our newsletter
to share some of the things that we here at Infinity are
thankful for.
We’re thankful for a kind and merciful Creator, who loves us
without exception, and who has made a way for us to know Him
and be with Him. We’re thankful for our families, both that
are with us still and who’ve passed on. We’re thankful for
our country, which even with all of its problems and
concerns is still the greatest place on earth to live. We’re
thankful for our military, who have willingly sacrificed
their lives for over two hundred years that we might live in
freedom. We’re thankful for our team, who work faithfully to
make our business a success. We’re thankful for our company,
which has seen success and growth even in a poor economy.
We’re thankful for our clients, many of whom have become
personal friends, and without whom there would be no
company. We’re thankful for our vendors, who provide quality
products and services so that we can serve our customers.
We’re thankful for our community, where both our business
and our families have thrived safely. We realize that the
things we have to be thankful for outnumber the things we
have to be worried about by such a large margin if we just
open our eyes and look.
We hope you find lots to be thankful for as well, and that
you enjoy a happy, safe, and bountiful Thanksgiving holiday.

7 Advantages of Managed IT
Services
by Chase Moritz,
Heartland Technology Solutions
Many small to mid-sized organizations are turning to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to help alleviate some of the strain on their internal IT resources, or take over the management of their network all together.
There are quite a few benefits to partnering with an MSP, from improved reliability to a better understanding of assets, which are all valuable in their own right. These are a few that top the list for most organizations considering some form of Managed IT Services.

Securely from Wireless Hot Spots

Wireless: How reliable do you
need it to be?
In this final post of our "Is Consumer Grade enough for your business?" series we'll look at the difference in Wireless solutions.
Wireless isn't really in the same category of Computers, Operating Systems, or Firewalls. It probably isn't a necessity for you to have wireless capabilities for your business to continue operations. It is however becoming more and more common in small businesses across the country and more people are beginning to rely on it in order to get their job done more effectively or conveniently.

How to Use Building Blocks to
Create a Reusable Header
The Building Blocks feature was first introduced in Microsoft Word 2007 and is often overlooked. This feature is very useful for maintaining consistent design in your documents. A reusable header can come in handy in many ways, such as creating a company letterhead. Here are the steps to create a reusable header:
|
4. |
Type the text you want as your header and format it however you would like. |
|
5. |
Select all text in the header after it is formatted. |
|
6. |
Go back to the
Insert tab. |
|
