SHRED & RECYCLE

POSA is continuing to partner with Walmart and Cintas to shred documents. Donations are requested at $3 per box to help with POSA OUTREACH children's programs like Shop with a Cop, Book'em and Kid Care ID pictures and fingerprinting for parents.

Scottsdale Leadership's Core Program provides the knowledge, connections, skills, and confidence for participants to take on leadership roles in the community. Each year, up to 45 diverse individuals are selected through a competitive process to participate in the nine-month, interactive program.

 

PROJECT LEAD IT FORWARD
We commend Class 29 for stellar Lead It Forward projects. The five teams showcased significant impact, efforts and achievements on April 24. 
 
A panel of distinguished judges selected Team Possibilities 5.0: Multi-Sensory Environment to receive the cash award to benefit their stakeholder, Scottsdale's Adaptive Recreation Services.


Class 29 honored The Victim Next Door with the inaugural Peer Award.

Scottsdale Historical Society, a non-profit, volunteer organization housed in the Little Red Schoolhouse on the Scottsdale Mall, is seeking a new Treasurer. Knowledge of Peachtree Software is a requirement. Duties include maintaining accounts, writing checks, and giving a financial report at the monthly board meetings on the third Monday night of each month.
