 Springtime Entertaining Tips Spring is a wonderful time for entertaining dinner guests and you can create some wonderful experiences either inside or out with strategically placed items you already own. We trawled the internet for some of our favorites to share with you.  1. Candles. They're not just for romantic dinners anymore. You can find gorgeous candle holders at thrift stores or discount department stores that can really make your table pop. Consider slim candles for your outside table like the ones shown here which will cast a flickering glow on your table for a beautiful setting. 2. Whimsical lighting. String lights across an outside walkway, or patio area to create a quaint ambiance as the evening turns to night. We found a beautiful example of this at this link.  3. Dramatic stairway or entry. Your guests' first impression as they enter your home may be a lasting one. Imagine a beautiful cascading stairway to replace the one your home was built with. We provide ornate entrances with railings, balusters and scrolls to give your home an elegant touch. In a pet and child free home, you can place candles on alternate steps to create a warm and inviting glow. 4. Camp indoors. Kids love the idea of camping, but it's not always practical to take off for the weekend. Prepare s'mores on the barbecue, create camping themed place cards, and serve hot dogs and burgers to your guests for a more casual dinner party.
