BRING A WELCOME BASKET TO THE SPRING CONFERENCE/ PRE-CONFERENCE BRIEFING

Our visiting migrant families begin to arrive at the end of April, but most of them come in the months of May and June and many stay well into November. We want to be hospitable since many arrive after a long journey from Texas or Florida and need a few items to help them transition into the camps. We need 50 welcome baskets by May 15, so please consider bringing one or several to the Spring Conference!   See the full details on the flyer below.

Church of St. Andrew UMC is located at 3620 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH.

"PUTTING FAITH IN ACTION CLARIFIES ALL"

Rev. Laura Bensman spent 2 years working the US-2 missionary program in which she was placed in a social justice ministry in the U.S.  Here is what she learned:  "How we live in the world is really how we live out our faith ... our faith should impact how we live in the world. It is not something we should just do in a building on Sunday. Our actions should be influenced by our faith." Read the article written by Erin Edgemon for the Interpreter below!
